More than 150 competitors from many different European countries competed this year in AsLiCo 62nd Annual Competition for Young Opera Singers of Europe. Preliminary auditions were held in Madrid, Turin, Istanbul, Bucarest, Palermo, Vienna e Como, with Preliminary and Semi-Final rounds held on January 27th – 29th, 2011 at Teatro Sociale di Como. The Finals on January 30th, which were held in concert format before a theater audience, presented 11 singers performing arias by Rota, Rossini, Verdi, Donizetti and Mozart. Below is a list of winners and the roles they will present during AsLiCo and the Circuito Lirico Lombardo's opera season and the winners of Competition of emerging voice.
